I'm planning a 3 day, 2 night bikepacking trip in early June. Is there dispersed camping on the trail?

I would actually like to know this too - I'd rather ride the trail in 3 days with 2 nights camping so we would have time to explore other areas. When are you planning to be there? We're from Topeka.

We are planning sometime between June 6 and 10. Still trying to solidify the details. I think we will end up putting our heads down and doing it in 2 days, staying overnight in Hill City.
